Airbnb Review: Budget Airbnb in Lima
Hey, I finally landed a Budget Airbnb in Lima that I’m genuinely impressed with. And if you’ve ever hunted for decent, affordable stays in this city, you know that can be a bit of a challenge.

Budget Airbnb in Lima: Spacious & Thoughtful
Right off the bat, you can see the bones of this place are solid. There’s a huge mirror right as you walk in — something I actually appreciate since a lot of Airbnbs don’t even think to include one. There’s also a stand, some decorative pictures, and a comfy couch setup. One thing that really stood out is that this Airbnb actually has a coffee table. You’d be surprised how many don’t here in Lima.
Kitchen With a Full Bar Setup
Next up is the kitchen. I had just come back from grocery shopping, originally aiming to visit Plaza Vea (a popular store here), but unfortunately, it was under construction. Still, I was able to stock up elsewhere. What’s great is this kitchen isn’t just a kitchenette – it has a full stove, a sink, and even a bar area. I probably won’t be using the stove much, but I love that it’s here. Finding a setup like this in a touristy area without paying an arm and a leg? Pretty rare.
Washer and Dryer — Yes, Both!
One of the biggest wins for me: this place has both a washer and dryer. That might not sound like a big deal, but if you’ve stayed in a Budget Airbnb in Lima (or anywhere for that matter), you know how hard it is to find both in one place. Most Airbnbs either offer one or none, so having this full laundry setup is a game changer -especially for longer stays.
Entertainment and Workspace
Let’s talk about entertainment. There’s a massive Smart TV in the living room (probably 60 inches or more) with Netflix and YouTube ready to go. Perfect for winding down after a day out exploring. There’s also a dedicated desk area, where I’ve been doing some computer work. It’s always a plus when an Airbnb has a proper workspace with good lighting and comfort.
Cozy Bedroom With Another TV
Moving into the bedroom, it’s got a nice, cozy bed, and yes—another Smart TV. This one’s a little smaller but still a great addition. The room also includes another full-length mirror, a full dresser, chest of drawers, and even an ironing board with an iron. These little details really show that someone thought through the guest experience.
Plenty of Mirrors for a Complete View
One of my biggest pet peeves with Airbnbs in Lima is the lack of mirrors. I like to be able to see myself when I get dressed – front, back, side – so having multiple full-length mirrors is a huge plus for me. My last place didn’t even have a mirror in the bathroom. Here, they’ve got it all covered.
Entry, Exit, and Security
The building has front desk security, which is standard for many Airbnbs here. Some people are fine with that, but personally, I prefer having a simple key or code entry —no audience, no questions, no waiting to be let in and out…like some child or pet, no prying eyes – no nosy people! I’m grown. Just let me come & go on my own. Luckily, the staff here are cool, and it hasn’t been an issue.
All in all, this Airbnb really checked a lot of boxes for me, especially considering it’s a budget-friendly option. From the washer and dryer to the Smart TVs and thoughtful furnishings, it’s one of the better places I’ve stayed in Lima. If you’re on the hunt for a place that offers comfort without breaking the bank, this one definitely makes the cut!
